A Note from Farmer peanut
When my mom first told me of her desire to scale our flower production at the farm, I thought flowers were a frivolous, unpractical crop that serve no real purpose as they won’t feed our growing population. And while beautiful blooms don’t feed my body, they certainly nourish my soul and arranging serves as a creative outlet for a lady whose artistic hobbies have been consumed by farm life. Our flowers also attract the birds and the bees, and hundreds of folks who stop by our booth at the farmers market, drawn to the colorful displays. Needless to say, I’m 100% hooked and we are now growing (and foraging for!) a wide variety of perennial and annuals flowers/herbs. Along with our produce, our cut flowers are USDA Certified Organic and always fresh, featuring the highest quality seasonal blooms. These eye-catching flowers are available by the bucket or bouquet through our flower share program, at the Matthews Farmers Market, in the stores of local florists, and through special orders for private events.
By the Bucket
May through October, we offer buckets of seasonal and organically grown flowers for DIY weddings and special events. Each $120 bucket contains a mix of ~70 seasonal stems, including focal flowers and foliage. Email katherine@wildhopefarm.com to get started with your order or read more information below.
By the Bouquet
Twice a week we turn up the music and get down to designing beautiful, unique arrangements that are sure to brighten your room. Our pre-arranged, farm-style bouquets are available every weekend at the Matthews Farmers Market (8 - 12 on Saturdays) or through our 12-week flower share program (mid May - early August).
Special Events
From May through October, we provide bouquets, boutineers, and tablescapes design for a select number of weddings and other special events in the greater Charlotte area. We are currently booking for 2024.
