Planting plan, field activities, harvest log, yield tracking, sales—all of this information is interconnected. The germination success of a single planting could be the reason behind reduced sales (or was it a late frost, tractor mistake, or late harvesting?) With a foundation of good records, you can better understand the different factors that made up one crop’s success/failure and learn from your wins/ mistakes every year. This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of Wild Hope Farm’s detailed recordkeeping system and the free software used to track this information, Airtable. Even if only one streamlined approach is used to keep records on the farm (i.e., planting plan), it will help save time and money
